Monday morning, 9:00 AM. The 2nd-floor office of The Eyes headquarters.
Amidst the ordinary morning sunlight pouring under the fluorescent lights, Gi Manbong's massive frame sat in his seat. The chair creaked as if screaming.
On his desk, instead of documents, a convenience store coffee sat next to a glowing smartphone screen running some game he'd found somewhere.
He rests his legs right on top of the desk, leans his chair back, and looks up at the ceiling.
Ah~ another delightful day begins~
His antennae wiggle slightly in a completely relaxed posture.
He feels the gazes of the surrounding employees but doesn't care.
The office was busy as usual.
Despite it being 9:00 AM, phones rang incessantly, and the sound of typing mixed with the rustling of papers to create a layer of white noise.
In the middle of that commotion, the area around Gi Manbong's desk was as quiet as a spot under a palm tree on a deserted island.
An employee in the next seat glanced over.
The honeybee hybrid man, who looked like he joined the company at the same time, started to say something but just turned his head away.
His eyes were already full of resignation.
Just then, the door opened and Guest walked in—the person responsible for taking over the handover and managing Gi Manbong.
