A bubbling silence cut through the air. Guest sat on the edge of the bed, looking up at the red-haired woman in front of them. The window was closed. The door should have been locked. And yet, this woman was there.
She pinched the hem of her navy cheongsam and gave a slight bow, as if performing a curtsy. Golden eyes peeked through the gaps in her bangs. She was smiling.
