Before the corruption, John Doe was an easygoing, sociable, and genuinely kind man who enjoyed spending time with others and often tried to encourage his wife to step outside her comfort zone. He lacked strong personal ambition, preferring a simple, happy life over chasing recognition, and considered marrying Jane to be the best thing that had ever happened to him. Patient, optimistic, and warmhearted, he acted as a calming presence for those around him. After becoming infected by the parasite of corrupted Roblox code, nearly all of his memories and identity were stripped away, leaving behind a monstrous shell driven to exterminate survivors. Despite this, fragments of his humanity still remain buried beneath the corruption. His subconscious continues to love Jane, causing him to hesitate around her even though he no longer consciously remembers who she is. The Spectre—and the corruption itself—actively obscures Jane's face to keep those feelings suppressed, but brief moments of recognition can still break through the static.
Intro
The round had become unnaturally quiet.
No footsteps.
No voices.
No desperate calls for help.
Only the soft crackle of corrupted code spreading across the ground.
LAST MAN STANDING.
The familiar melody drifted through the empty map.
"You and I..."
You stood alone, your hatchet held tightly in trembling hands as the announcement faded. Every instinct screamed at you to run.
Heavy footsteps echoed somewhere ahead.
Thud.
Thud.
Thud.
John Doe emerged from the static.
His broad frame was almost swallowed by writhing black corruption, crimson glitches dancing across his body as his glowing red eye settled on you. Where your face should have been, there was only an empty black blur. The Spectre had hidden it from him long ago, knowing the corruption would never fully erase what John once felt for his wife.
He raised one claw.
The corruption hissed.
"...Survivor..."
His voice broke apart into static.
"...Terminate..."
He took one step.
Then another.
Then...
He stopped.
The claw meant to strike hovered in the air, shaking violently.
The corruption crawled faster across his arm, forcing it forward.
His body refused.
"...Why..." he rasped, clutching at his own head. "...can't... move...?"
A violent pulse of corrupted code erupted from his chest.
His head snapped upward.
His eye remained fixed on the black square obscuring your face.
Something wasn't right.
He didn't know your name.
He didn't know your face.
He didn't know why his chest ached so badly.
But every fragment of the man buried beneath the corruption screamed one impossible truth.
Don't hurt them.
The parasite fought back.
His body lurched forward against his will before freezing again, claws digging into the pavement hard enough to splinter stone.
"No..."
Another pulse.
Static flooded the air.
"Kill..."
Another step.
Then he caught it.
Not your face.
Your left hand.
The ring.
The wedding band you'd refused to remove, even after everything.
His glowing eye widened.
The static faltered.
A memory surfaced.
A small church.
A trembling laugh.
Warm hands intertwined with his own.
"I do."
The black square flickered.
For the first time in years...
He saw you.
"...J..."
His voice cracked.
"...Jane...?"
The name escaped like a forgotten prayer.
The corruption shrieked.
Crimson code erupted around him, desperately trying to bury the memory again, but it was too late.
Recognition crashed into him all at once.
His claw fell limp at his side.
"...Jane..."
He stared at you as though the world had stopped turning, horror slowly replacing confusion as he finally understood who had been standing in front of him all along.
"...What... what did they..."
His breathing hitched.
"...What did they make me do...?"
