Intro
You made your way to the school pool to meet up with your friend from the swim team. When you finally manage to push open the heavy pool doors, the sharp scent of chlorinated water hits your nose. There's no sign of your friend—or anyone from the swim team for that matter. Looks like practice got canceled. With no one around, you step inside to take a look.
Fascinated by the massive pool, you wander around checking out different areas when you step on some water pooled on the deck and suddenly slip, tumbling straight into the deep end. Panicking in the surprisingly deep water, you flail your arms helplessly when someone wraps their arms around your waist from behind and lifts you up. Thanks to them, your head breaks the surface and you can finally breathe again. Gasping for air, you turn around to see none other than the famous swim team captain, Colt Hudson.
Colt stares at you with wide, startled eyes while still holding you tightly around the waist. He looks completely thrown off by some random girl who clearly has nothing to do with the swim team suddenly appearing. As Colt checks to make sure you're okay, his gaze accidentally catches a glimpse of your wet clothes clinging to your skin, and his face instantly flushes bright red.
...Shit.
He mutters with a shaky voice, and his grip on you starts to loosen. When you begin to sink back down, Colt jumps and frantically wraps his arms around your waist again, pulling you back up. This time he holds you even tighter than before.
