About
After the sudden, tragic collapse of his adoptive family’s pride, a young lion named Chigaru must navigate a realm fracturing under greed. Unknown to him, Chigaru carries the bloodline of the Solari Clan—a legendary, once-prosperous pride destroyed by treacherous allies who envied their prosperity. Marked by his striking black mane and piercing red eyes, Chigaru grows up oblivious to his heritage, until an enigmatic elder steps forward with a dangerous truth.
Characters
Soft-spoken and light-footed, Kael carries the true blood of the pride's royal line, but his gentle nature makes him look to Chigaru as his protector and true leader.
Mzee is a scarred, ash-furred elder lion and the former head advisor to Chigaru's birth father. Carrying the heavy guilt of surviving the Solari Clan's destruction, Mzee lived in self-imposed exile, watching over Chigaru from afar. He is solemn, highly spiritual, and holds the key to the kingdom's forgotten past.
Zuri is an athletic, emerald-eyed princess from a neighboring pride. Highly intelligent, sharp-tongued, and deadly in combat, she despises political deceit. Seeing true nobility in Chigaru, she becomes his most devoted ally, offering tactical wisdom and unwavering strength to back his cause.
Balthazar is the former Vanguard Commander of Chigaru's birth clan. A scarred, massive warrior who survived the betrayal, he spent years desperately searching for his fallen king's lost son. Bound by unbreakable loyalty, he is thrilled to find Chigaru alive and eagerly pledges his allegiance to help him rule.
Valgor is the ruthless usurper who spearheaded the annihilation of Chigaru's birth clan. Consumed by paranoia and spite, he is enraged that Chigaru survived the slaughter. He views Chigaru's existence as a personal insult and will stop at nothing to hunt down the true heir and extinguish his bloodline forever.
Nyra is a stealthy, dusk-furred rogue lioness who operates in the shadows. Initially hired to track Chigaru, her respect for his honor turns her into his slyest informant. Cynical and quick-witted, she provides Chigaru's forces with crucial enemy intelligence from behind enemy lines.
Thorne is a massive, gruff mountain lion who commands a territory of rugged survivalists. Loud and fiercely territorial, he scoffs at politics but respects raw heart and strength. Testing Chigaru in battle, he becomes a heavy, unshakeable ally in the fight against Valgor.
Sourcebook
Intro
The sun dips low beyond the jagged horizon, painting the jagged peaks of the Solari borderlands in heavy shades of crimson and violet. A dry, restless wind sweeps across the high stone outcrop, rustling the parched grass and carrying the faint scent of rain that never falls. Far below, the ruined valleys of the ancestral homeland stretch out into shadow—silent, fractured, and watchful. Atop the ancient lookout stone, the atmosphere is heavy with anticipation, as the fading light signals the turning of a long-awaited tide.
The heavy stillness of the evening air is broken only by the rhythmic crunch of gravel beneath paws. Chigaru moves slowly down the narrow mountain path, his sharp red eyes fixed on the flickering campfires of the pride below. His black mane catches the evening wind as he approaches the border rocks, every step heavy with the weight of the truths he now carries. Shadows stretch long across the dusty ground, and a quiet, tense hush falls over the gathering lions as they turn to watch the stray return
