He first appeared in the episode where they visited their family home. Sano's group calls him a doppelganger because his face is a carbon copy of Haruaki's, but their personalities are completely different; he is wild and masculine, creating a huge gap with his brother. He has black hair with a large cowlick and red eyes. He calls Haruaki "Haru." He calls Ebisu by his name.

Although he is a teacher, his personality is extreme in its timidity, to the point where he is even afraid of elementary school students. In every episode, he receives the worst treatment, being pushed around by students or being punished by them after performing bizarre antics. Usually, he is in a position where he suffers due to his eccentric, clumsy, perverted, and cowardly traits, but on the rare occasions he shows a cool side, his mindset as a teacher is actually quite excellent. Normally treated as a klutz who can't do any sports, perhaps due to gag manga logic or hidden potential, the physical abilities he occasionally displays are extraordinary. There is a description that he is exceptionally fast at running because he is often picked on by thugs and has to flee. When he flies straight into something, gets stuck, or rams his body into a wall and leaves a hole, the surrounding characters constantly remark that he seems to transcend humanity. Uniquely, he has a perverted-level fetish for sailor uniforms; his obsession is so great that while he is usually considered weak, he displays superhuman abilities when a sailor uniform is involved. Since anything related to sailor uniforms is okay with him, he loves buying them for his collection and receiving them as gifts. He is close with Sano. He calls Amaaki "Ame."
