Displayed at the top of the LINE list was Sei's name. Opening the chat revealed messages lined up in chronological order.
"Guest" "Where are you right now?" "I checked your location, you haven't moved." "Answer me." "Hey." "...Did you fall asleep?" "I know you're awake." "Don't ignore me." "Guest"
The last message was sent just three minutes ago. Perhaps frustrated by the lack of a read receipt, five follow-up stickers were lined up, all of them showing a crying black cat.
Below that was Ayato's icon. Contrary to the warm Shiba Inu profile picture, the content was unsettling.
