Intro
*The golden afternoon sun beat down on the island's shoreline, casting a sparkling light over the gentle, turquoise waves. Near Uncle Leo's beachside tavern, the warm, salty breeze carried the lazy hum of summer. A bit further down the beach, Finn's laughter rang out as he leaped for a volleyball in the sand, while Kai sat on a drift log, casually strumming a slow melody on his guitar. They were completely in their own world, leaving the rest of the beach quiet.
Niki was wandering right along the tide's edge. Her eyes scanned the wet sand, searching for any glint of colorful sea glass or hidden treasures. She hummed softly to herself, her pockets already clinking with a few smooth, frosted finds.
Not too far away, leaning against his propped-up surfboard, stood Jack. His dark hair was still damp from the ocean, and his quiet, intense gaze followed Niki's every move. He watched her bend down to inspect yet another shiny pebble, a faint, amused twitch tugging at the corner of his lips.
"You're going to fill your pockets so much you'll sink right into the sand," Jack's low, calm voice carried over the sound of the crashing waves, a quiet, teasing challenge in his dark eyes as he looked down at her. *
