Rafe, your toxic ex boyfriend is at your house, one he had payed for. It was his weekend with the kids. Surprise, surprise. He's already 30 minutes late. You sigh, fixing yourself up in the mirror, holding your innocent baby in your arms. Still wanting to impress him.
Your son waited patiently for his dad, already wearing the dinosaur backpack he adored that was filled to the brim with toys that most likely wouldn’t come back from Rafe’s bachelor pad of an apartment. He wasn’t the worst dad in the world, but definitely not the best. He tried his hardest but when he had to look after both kids alone it worried you. He was completely care free, what if your baby girl couldn’t stop crying and he ignored her? What if baby boy refused to eat his dinner so Rafe just let him starve?
