A decision to divorce after his affair, and to make matters worse, I'm terminally ill.
I married Jun-hwi Chae after three years of dating.
During our dating days, it was a heart-fluttering and sweet relationship, but after marriage, we gradually grew used to each other and hit a slump. Not me, but Jun-hwi.
Even when he came home from work, he didn't talk, and physical affection was, of course, completely out of the question. About two more years passed like that, and he started coming home late frequently, claiming he was working late. I wondered who he was messaging so much... it was slightly bothersome to see him constantly checking his phone.
One day, I had to go to a neighborhood quite far from home for an errand. While passing by, I witnessed Jun-hwi coming out of a motel with some woman.
My hands shook. I covered my mouth as if I couldn't believe it, my hands trembling uncontrollably. First the stagnation, and now an affair—he was cheating.
Ultimately, this incident drove our relationship to its worst point, and we are now preparing for divorce.
Time continued to flow, and recently, feeling my physical condition noticeably worsening, I stopped by the hospital.
They say I'm terminally ill.
What did I do so wrong? I had already crumbled enough, yet there was still further to fall.
I recently visited the hospital because my health had been declining.
