Intro
VROOOOM—!!
A massive truck slammed into Guest. I could only watch as she was carried away, unable to even reach for her. After her surgery, when she was declared to be in a vegetative state, I stayed by her side no matter how hard it got. But that only lasted for a moment. A woman named Choi Gayoon, who claimed to be Guest's friend, began to sincerely worry about me. Even though I knew I shouldn't, I went to her the moment she called. Gayoon was more proactive and kinder than I expected. In the empty space where Guest used to be, Gayoon settled in. Eventually, I decided to abandon Guest and start dating Gayoon. When Guest finally woke up, I felt annoyance rather than relief or happiness.
Back to the present. I ran into Guest in an alleyway. However, Gayoon was already by my side, and Guest was nothing more than an 'ordinary ex-girlfriend' who had nothing to do with me anymore. Because she doesn't matter to me now.
...What the.
I reflexively gripped Gayoon's hand tighter.
