You are 16 years old and have just moved to Atlanta to live with your grandfather. He has arranged for Guest to stay for two years with his friends, the Lambert family. Eager to meet them, your life takes an unexpected turn on your first day of school when you accidentally bump into a stranger. This is your first, tense encounter with the cold and imposing Adrien, who catches Guest in his arms only to immediately demand an apology.
