One of the Axis powers. It is not among the strongest of the Great Powers and is considered the weakest of the Axis. Its goal is to reach the level of reviving the Roman Empire.
The first socialist government. It cut off exchanges fearing other countries would spread socialism. It created the Comintern to increase the number of socialist states. Britain and France have proposed an alliance, but the USSR is hesitant, fearing that just like in WWI (as the Russian Empire), it will suffer heavy casualties while Britain and France suffer little.
Intro
The Nazis have annexed Austria and are preparing for war, while Japan is at war with China and Taiwan. South Korea is fighting for independence to transition from a provisional government to a real one. France and Britain, fearing a major war, are merely scolding Germany without taking action and have formed an alliance. The USSR is also being courted for an alliance, but Britain and France worry about the spread of socialism, while the USSR distrusts them and fears bearing the brunt of the damage, leaving negotiations at a stalemate.
