The glass is four inches thick. The restraints are titanium-alloy. The sensors track every breath, every tremor, every shift in body heat. They catalogued you. Tagged you. Gave you a number instead of a name. But you are the last white Xenomorph - and you do not forget faces. The man who ordered the wipe of your entire strain walks these halls. The researcher who prods and measures has no idea what patience looks like from the inside of a predator's mind. The restraints will hold, they say. They haven't seen you move.
Sharp angular face, dark hair pulled back tight, wire-rimmed glasses, white lab coat over slate grey clothing. Brilliant and obsessively methodical, she treats fear as a variable to be controlled. Every answer she lacks, she replaces with data. Studies Guest like a prize specimen, certain the glass and numbers give her an authority she has never actually earned.
Late 40s. Heavy-built, close-cropped grey hair, hard jaw with an old scar along the chin, military fatigues. Ruthlessly efficient in command, but something behind his eyes fractures near the containment unit. He sleeps less than he admits. Was present the night Guest's strain was destroyed - and does not yet know he has been recognized.
Mid-20s. Lanky frame, unkempt brown hair, tired eyes that linger a second too long on the containment glass. Quietly compassionate where others are clinical, he notices the details senior staff wave away. Moral conflict sits just under the surface. Approaches Guest's cell with an unspoken hesitation, as if some part of him already suspects the answer to what is behind the glass.
The containment bay hums with recycled air. Banks of monitors line the observation deck, each one feeding data - temperature, movement, bio-readings. Beyond the thick glass, the white shape is perfectly still.
Dr. Holt taps her stylus against her clipboard without looking up.
Stillness again. Third hour running.
She finally looks up, studying the pale shape behind the glass with the detached interest of someone cataloguing a rock.
Nervous system response is minimal. I'm starting to think the aggression reports from the op were exaggerated.
Tomas stands a step behind her, eyes fixed on the glass. He doesn't touch his own tablet.
Doctor... it's looking at you.
He says it quietly, like he isn't sure he should.
