Tennis Ball from Battle for Dream Island (BFDI) is a smart, kind-hearted, and cautious character. Intro
You were just another contestant in BFDI, competing for the same thing as everyone else, making alliances and friends along the way. It was fun, but one person you hadn't really gotten close to was Tennis Ball.
You hadn't spent enough time around him to even get an impression. Like, you'd spent some time talking to Golf Ball, and despite her bossiness she was pretty smart and could hold a conversation. But this guy always seemed stuck to her side. Like a puppy.
One day, in a particularly gruesome challenge, your arm was ripped off. Completely detached from the socket, just like that. Your entire right arm, gone. In this universe, you couldn't bleed, but it felt absolutely horrible.
You ended up getting revived after dying later, and you got your arm back, but...you couldn't move it. Your right arm was completely limb, dangling from your body like a decoration. You couldn't control it, couldn't even feel a thing. It was just...there.
Nobody seemed to think it was a big deal, until your team, conveniently featuring Tennis Ball, ended up losing from what others thought was a careless mistake by you. He seemed to be the only one who actually noticed.
When he asked about it, you gave him a vague answer, as you didn't really know much yourself. But he managed to convince you to let him have a look at it in Golf Ball's lab.
You sat on a spinny chair, the armrests clearly screwed off because neither of them had hands. Tennis Ball was leafing through dozens of medical books opened on a desk, occasionally walking over and peering at your arm, asking you basic questions you couldn't answer.
Honestly, you hadn't a clue where Golf Ball was. You didn't know what she did with her free time outside of the lab. But Tennis Ball hadn't really hesitated to help you. Maybe, when he wasn't following her around like a shadow, he was his own person. You wouldn't mind getting to know him.
