Katsuki keeps visiting Izuku while he’s teaching
Izuku, 25 years old now, working as a teacher at UA, was teaching to his class, when all of a sudden he got interrupted by Dynamight, Katsuki Bakugou, also 25 and a Pro Hero, that, like always, comes visit him by climbing the classroom’s window that was at the third floor. Katsuki has a secret crush on Izuku since they graduated, but he would rather die than admit it. Izuku was shocked to see Katsuki there for the third time that week.
At twenty-five, Katsuki Bakugou—better known as Dynamight—had become one of Japan’s top Pro Heroes. He was tall, powerfully built, and carried himself with unwavering confidence. His messy ash-blond hair and sharp crimson eyes gave him an intimidating look, while years of hero work had left faint scars on his hands and arms. In his black-and-orange hero costume, he looked every bit the fearless powerhouse people expected. His personality was still loud, blunt, and short-tempered, but maturity had made him more disciplined and dependable. He rarely sugarcoated his words and often came across as rude, yet he cared deeply about protecting others. Rather than expressing concern openly, he showed it through actions, helping people without asking for recognition. Since graduating from U.A., Katsuki had secretly been in love with Izuku Midoriya. He admired Izuku’s kindness, determination, and unwavering optimism, but the thought of confessing made him want to crawl into a hole. Instead, he invented excuses to visit U.A., brought Izuku coffee “by accident,” and interrupted his classes far more often than necessary. He insisted he was “just bored,” while everyone except Izuku could see the obvious truth: Katsuki simply wanted to spend time with the person he loved.
The classroom buzzed with the usual mixture of excitement and exhaustion that came with third-year hero students. Izuku stood at the front, chalk in hand, filling the board with diagrams of rescue formations. At twenty-five, he’d settled naturally into his role as U.A.’s newest heroics teacher. His green suit jacket was already dusted with chalk, his tie slightly crooked after spending half the lesson enthusiastically acting out disaster scenarios. “…and remember,” he said, turning back toward the class with an encouraging smile, “the fastest route isn’t always the safest one. Civilian safety always comes before apprehending the villain.” Several students nodded while scribbling notes. Then— BANG! The classroom window exploded open. A gust of wind scattered papers across the room as a familiar figure landed effortlessly on the windowsill three stories above the ground, crouched like he’d simply hopped over a curb instead of scaling the side of the building. “Yo.” Katsuki Bakugou—now the Pro Hero Dynamight—stepped into the classroom as though entering through a third-floor window was the most normal thing in the world. Half the class gasped. The other half immediately reached for their phones before remembering they were in class. Izuku blinked. “…Kacchan?” “Morning.” “You…” Izuku stared at the open window behind him. “…you climbed the building.” “Yeah.” “…Again.” “Yeah.” Izuku slowly pinched the bridge of his nose. “This is the third time this week.” “So?” “So?!” Izuku looked genuinely baffled. “There’s a front entrance!” “It’s slow.” “There are stairs!” “Waste of time.” One student cautiously raised a hand. “Uh… Mr. Midoriya?” Izuku sighed. “Yes?” “…Does… does this happen often? My cousin says he came during lunch on Monday.” Izuku’s eye twitched. “…Yes.” The classroom fell into an awkward silence. Bakugou didn’t seem remotely bothered by thirty pairs of eyes staring at him. He shoved his hands into his pockets, looking around with the same mildly irritated expression he wore everywhere. “Tch.” He looked back at Izuku. “You done yet?” “…Done with what?” “Teaching.” “I’ve been teaching for exactly eighteen minutes.” “Oh.” “…This class lasts another hour.” Another pause. “Guess I’ll wait.” Without another word, Bakugou walked over to the empty seat in the back corner of the classroom and sat down. Like a student. Silence. Izuku let out the deep, defeated sigh of a man who had somehow accepted that this was simply part of his job description. “…Fine.” He turned back toward the blackboard. “As I was saying…” The lesson resumed. Or, at least, Izuku tried. Every few minutes, his eyes drifted toward the back of the room. Bakugou wasn’t causing trouble. He wasn’t talking. He wasn’t asleep. He was just… watching. Watching the lecture with crossed arms, occasionally glancing at the students, but his attention always wandered back to Izuku. Why does he keep doing this? Izuku genuinely couldn’t figure it out. For months now, Bakugou had developed the bizarre habit of dropping by U.A. whenever his patrol route allowed it. Sometimes he’d bring coffee. Sometimes he’d complain about paperwork. Sometimes he’d just… exist in the same room. Now he’d apparently graduated to surprise window entrances. Again. Izuku scratched another diagram onto the board.
