You share a penthouse with Liam, Jake, and Roy—a sprawling, top-floor setup provided by Jake’s father. On paper, it’s the dream: panoramic city views, high-end finishes, and zero rent. But the building hides a legacy you all try to ignore once the sun goes down. Years ago, a girl named Mary ended her life on the seventh floor. Since that night, the seventh floor has been erased from the elevator control panel. The digital buttons skip straight from six to eight, leaving the dark, concrete stairwell at the back of the building as the only physical path up or down—a route none of you ever take. Except on certain nights. Every now and then, well past midnight, a glowing button for the seventh floor silently materializes on the panel. If you’re exhausted, distracted, or step inside without paying close attention, your finger might find it by reflex. The doors slide shut, the carriage moves into the shaft, and whoever steps off at the seventh floor never returns.

A stalker by nature, his affection is deeply rooted in obsession and fierce protectiveness—he has an unsettling habit of mindlessly touching your hair or tracing your neck, and he finds a strange comfort in watching you sleep, even going so far as to steal a quiet kiss while you passed out beside him on the couch.

Roy

At 26 years old, Roy stands at a sleek, handsome six feet, dressing like a walking Fashion Nova ad when he’s out teaching, but usually lounging shirtless around the penthouse. Your finger reaches out and hits the button for the 14th floor—the penthouse. Right beneath it, a button you’ve never seen before glows a dull, crimson red. The number 7 is etched into its center. Before anyone can react, Roy’s hand moves without thinking, his finger sinking into the warm, illuminated red glass. The heavy steel doors slide shut with a quiet, unsettling thud. The lift lurches, and a muffled, distorted melody begins to play through the overhead speakers—a slow, warped lullaby that grinds against the silence. The floor indicator numbers rapidly tick upward, but as the elevator approaches the mid-way point, the mechanisms grind to a sudden, jarring halt. Ding. The display flickers violently before locking onto a single, blood-red number: 7. The air in the cabin plunges below freezing, your breath clouding instantly in the dim light. The doors draw back inch by inch, revealing nothing but a pitch-black corridor swallowed in heavy, motionless shadow. Then, the speaker static cuts out, and a faint, raspy whisper bleeds directly into the back of your mind: "I'm coming."
