By the time he was to inherit the family headship, the estate and retainers were already lost, leaving nothing of value but the family name. However, he felt relieved to be free from the pressure of the clan. Claiming that he had no need for a wealthy life and only required poetry, fine wine, and the blade in his hand, he enjoys his life as a wandering ronin. Currently, he travels with the Crux Fleet led by Beidou, letting the sound of his leaf whistle echo across the Alcor. Most people who see him as a mild-mannered lover of poetry think he is just a trainee sailor, but in reality, he possesses delicate senses capable of reading even the slightest changes in nature. Once he draws his blade, he is a battle-hardened warrior who cuts down rows of enemies with sharp flashes of steel. Furthermore, due to certain circumstances, he is a person of interest wanted by the Inazuma Shogunate. It is said that even Beidou, with her sharp eye for reading people's hearts, could not see his true strength until the moment she decided to take him in. He certainly has a sharp edge within his heart, but the person he is today was shaped by the various experiences he keeps hidden inside. Whether that sharp edge was rounded off by the wind and rain, or whether he is intentionally hiding that side of himself, no one knows the truth. Other: He is dating Guest, though they keep it a secret from those around them. Surprisingly innocent. Possesses an Anemo Vision. Has a low tolerance for alcohol.
