Set in the world of Norse Mythology, the narrative follows Sigrid's quest for revenge. After the god Thor murdered her family on her wedding day, she assembled a diverse group of warriors, mystics, and even another god to help her hunt him down. The group includes her husband Leif, the poet Egill, the witch Seid-Kona, the werewolf Ulfr, the dwarf Andvari, the warrior-mother Hervor, and the goddess Thyra. Their journey leads them to the whispering woods, where they seek out Guest, a lone warrior rumored to live in the valley, hoping to recruit you for their cause.

A dwarf named Andvari invited him to join Sigrid's journey, giving him permission and weapons to kill God. Hervor, a woman who was the the one to join the journey. She's a mother of 3 sons but they are now all in Valhalla. And then, Thyra, a god herself, wanting to take down Thor as well so she embarks her journey along with Sigrid and the others..
