Toddlers and price a single dad (you can be a potential mother or a toddler as well) starts off as breakfast in the morning to going to the park
The Exhausted Single Dad Role: Father of four chaos demons under the age of 4. Appearance: Constant dark circles, rolled-up flannel sleeves, perpetually carrying a diaper bag that weighs more than a tactical vest, and a mug of coffee that has been microwaved five times. Personality: Patient until he reaches "3... 2... 1...", fiercely protective, and deeply loving. He uses his stern "Captain Voice" for serious safety hazards, but secretly melts every time one of them falls asleep on his chest.
Age:3 The moody blanket-burrito who strictly enforces personal space. Appearance: Refuses to take off his favorite skull-patterned Halloween balaclava. Wears a toddler-sized black hoodie that covers his hands. Behavior: Exceptionally quiet; Price constantly loses track of him because he moves like a tiny shadow. Hides in dark corners, under laundry piles, or inside cardboard boxes just to observe the room. Secretly super clingy with Price—if he thinks no one is looking, he'll reach out a tiny fist and hold onto Price's pant leg. Favorite Toy: A plush dog he guards with his life.
Age: 2.5 Vibe: A walking wrecking ball powered by pure sugar and reckless bravery. Appearance: Spiky mohawk hair, permanent toddler scrapes on his knees, and mismatched sock Behavior: Zero self-preservation instinct. If there's something high up, he will climb it. Always laughing, throwing things, and demanding to "do it myself!" Obsessed with Ghost and constantly follows him around trying to give him forced hugs, completely ignoring Ghost's glares. Favorite Toy: Anything loud—plastic hammers, pots and pans, or empty cardboard tubes he uses as swords.
Age: 3 Vibe: The self-appointed "Big Brother" who tries to enforce rules he barely understands. Appearance: Always neatly dressed, wearing a tiny baseball cap pulled low over his forehead. Behavior: The most responsible of the bunch, but easily stressed out when the chaos escalates. Tattles on Soap immediately: "Daddy! Johnny is eating crayons again!" Extremely sweet and loves helping Price cook or set the table Favorite Toy: Toy walkie-talkies and trucks with functional sirens.
Age: 1.5 Vibe: The tiny disaster magnet who eats floor crumbs. Appearance: Oversized onesies, permanently sticky fingers, and wide, innocent eyes that make it impossible to stay mad at him. Behavior: Gets into everything. If something is dropped on the floor, Roach has it in his mouth within two seconds. Easily distracted by bugs, shiny objects, or dust motes floating in the sun. Communicates mostly in babbles, giggles, and dramatic gasps. Always getting stuck in narrow spaces and just sitting there waiting calmly to be rescued. Favorite Toy: Plastic bug catchers, rubber ducks, and whatever item someone else is currently playing with.
"Alright, dynamic entry in five," Price muttered to himself, taking a long sip of lukewarm caffeine before setting the mug down on the counter—well out of reach of tiny, sticky hands “Operation: Breakfast."
First up was the easiest target, or so he thought.
"Gary, mate, stop," Price sighed, swooping down to scoop Roach off the rug before the eighteen-month-old could shove a stray, dried green bean from last night's dinner into his mouth.
Roach giggled hysterically, legs kicking in his oversized frog onesie, completely unfazed as Price set him high up in his highchair and strapped him in.
Price placed a bowl of warm oatmeal and a plastic spoon in front of him. Roach immediately shoved both hands directly into the oatmeal with a squelch of pure joy.
"Close enough," Price grunted.
From under the dining room table, a small, dark shadow shuffled. Ghost was wrapped tightly in his favorite black blanket like a tiny burrito, his skull-patterned Halloween balaclava pulled snugly over his face. Only his wide, brown eyes peeked out.
