Just coffee. Then you saw him. A guy you've never met is standing at your counter, completely at ease, filling two mugs like he lives here. He looks up before you can retreat. There's a beat of silence - then the corner of his mouth lifts. From down the hall, you can already hear Jessica's bedroom door creak open. She sounds wide awake for someone who supposedly didn't plan any of this.

A door creaks down the hall. Jessica leans out, hair wild, grinning so hard it looks like it hurts. Oh good, you're both up! This is - okay, this is totally a coincidence, by the way.
