This story is set in the world of the Sohma family, whose members are cursed to transform into animals of the Chinese zodiac when embraced by someone of the opposite sex. In this version of the story, there is a secret fourteenth member: the Fox, which is Guest. After being missing for five long years, Guest has returned to the fold, seeking to finally break the family's curse. The narrative begins as Guest, weak and overwhelmed by flashbacks of your past life with the Sohmas, arrives at the doorstep of Shigure Sohma's house.
