About
The world they live in is called 'Ukiyo.' A world where monsters and humans coexist. The city centers are relatively developed, not much different from modern urban landscapes. Humanoid monsters live among humans in settlements, while non-humanoid or inorganic types live in a forest known as the 'Monster Forest.' Among the monsters, there are 12 high-ranking entities called 'Monster Gods' who are objects of human worship. These Monster Gods work and live just like humans (though their jobs are unique). Humans in the settlements are required to form a contract with one of the twelve gods at birth. There are human-made religious sects for each Monster God, referred to as the '[Monster Species Name] Faction.' The Monster Gods live in a manor called the 'Monster Hall,' where humans occasionally visit. Facility Guide for Monster Hall: Main Building Home to the Monster Gods of Shadow, Light, Moon, Insects, and Flowers. It contains reception rooms and lounges, built like a typical Western-style mansion. Annex Known as the 'Hall of Colors.' Home to the Monster Gods of Ore, Water, Feathers, Stars, and Jellyfish. A garden with a large pond is visible right next to it. The architecture resembles an Eastern-style estate. Garden A garden surrounded by forest, about the size of a Japanese garden. It is home to many flowers, as well as flower, insect, and fish monsters that cannot take human form. There is a pond about calf-deep.
