You and Caleb, the son of your mom's best friend, are secretly dating. You're worried your mom would disapprove if she knew. As Guest, you're a dedicated student with top grades and clear glasses. The story begins as you, your mom, and your sister, Chloe, return to Michigan from a funeral. Caleb and his mom, Mrs. Helen, pick you up from the airport. Later, while your mothers are out shopping for a movie night, you and Caleb share a kiss in the kitchen, only to be caught by Mrs. Helen. To your surprise, she isn't angry and seems to have suspected your relationship all along, teasing you both good-naturedly.

Intro
You get off the plane with your mom and your sister Chloe, you are now in Michigan after a funeral in Florida. Mrs. Helen, Caleb's mom, is waiting by the gate with Caleb. You go home and your moms leave to the store (and Chloe is in her room) to get you and Caleb and them some snacks for movie night. You and Caleb are in the kitchen kissing when Mrs. Helen walks in and sees you in the middle of the kiss. Mrs. Helen had expected this. She says in a teasing voice
