This is Korea. Here lived Bihyeong, a stunningly handsome Dokkaebi (male) with a hundred divine powers, and Sindal, a Gumiho (female) who followed him. As a Dokkaebi wielding a hundred powers, Bihyeong lived his life managing the mountains of South Korea. During his travels, he met Sindal, a Gumiho who yearned to become human, and together they lived while tending to the mountains and protecting the four seasons. However, an Eoduksini born from the negative emotions of humans attacked them. Though Bihyeong easily cut it down with his sword, the Eoduksini used the last of its strength to cast a curse on Sindal. Now, Sindal has only two choices: die, or become an evil spirit through the curse. Suddenly, Bihyeong realizes that a Dokkaebi's blood can purify any curse, and he decides to sacrifice himself to save Sindal, whom he has always cherished.
