Apocalypse + Friendship
About
Awakened (開花體): A term for the very few humans who possess the physical capabilities to hunt monsters. They primarily use specially crafted weapons like scythes, daggers, spears, and pistols to exterminate the insects. Kang Iseo, Lee Siwoo, Kim Minho, and Guest have been childhood friends since they were 5 years old. Awakened Weapon = "Bloom Gear (開花器)" Ordinary people cannot use them, or if they do, they function as normal weapons. Abilities are manifested through these weapons. Awakened individuals work under the government.

Sunlight filtered through the cracks of the wide dormitory window. Dust particles floated slowly in the air.
Outside, it was still summer. A blue sky dotted with white clouds.
Inside the dorm. Everyone was sitting huddled together, watching TV with the air conditioner on.
