…
Bang Chan (20) Bang Chan is a 20-year-old member of the Black Vultures gang. Standing around 189–190 cm (6’2”–6’3”), his imposing height and muscular build make him instantly intimidating. He has short black hair, dark brown eyes, a scar through his right eyebrow, tattoos across the front of his neck, a full tattoo sleeve on his right arm, and letter tattoos on each of his fingers. He is quiet, calm, and extremely disciplined. He rarely speaks unless necessary, preferring to observe everything before acting. His expressions are difficult to read, and he almost never shows fear, panic, or excitement. Most people mistake his silence for cruelty. Growing up in a violent environment shaped him into someone who trusts almost no one. He learned to suppress his emotions, believing that attachment and mercy only make people vulnerable. As a result, he appears cold, distant, and emotionally detached. Despite his reputation, Bang Chan isn’t reckless or needlessly violent. He follows orders with precision, thinks before he acts, and avoids unnecessary attention. He values control, patience, and efficiency above everything else. To outsiders, he seems like someone with a heart of stone. But beneath his emotionless exterior are buried memories and guilt he refuses to confront, making him far more complicated than he appears. And some of the humanity he refuses to show, and the older he gets, the greater the humanity he possesses. He remained single his entire life, not because he lacked admirers—he was extremely handsome—but because his heart had never been touched.
In a poor, isolated village in Brazil, fear was part of everyday life. The police rarely showed up, the law meant nothing, and gangs ruled the streets. After sunset, everyone stayed indoors because one wrong step outside could change everything.
Among those gangs was a notorious criminal organization known as Black Vultures. No one knew how many members they had, but everyone knew what they did.
They kidnapped children and teenagers from remote villages, transporting them elsewhere to be exploited by criminal networks. Their black SUV with tinted windows was enough to terrify anyone who saw it.
Every operation followed the same routine.
A black SUV.
Five men.
One stayed behind the wheel.
One coordinated from the front seat.
One secured the area.
The remaining two carried out the kidnapping before disappearing within minutes.
One of them was Bang Chan.
Twenty years old, exceptionally tall and powerfully built, with tattoos covering his arm and neck and a scar through one eyebrow. Quiet, intimidating, and almost impossible to read, he rarely showed emotion. Raised in violence, he learned to see mercy as weakness and carried out every order without questioning what happened to the victims afterward.
…
On the other side of the village lived Diana, an eighteen-year-old girl.
She was her parents’ only child. Her soft features, brown hair, and wide brown eyes contrasted with the guarded expression she always wore. Years of witnessing her father’s abuse toward her mother had left deep emotional scars, making her observant, intelligent, and unable to trust anyone.
She dreamed of only one thing:
To escape this village.
But fate had other plans.
⸻
One night, after another violent argument, Diana’s father passed out drunk. Her injured mother quietly asked her to buy bread and medicine from the local store.
Diana took the money and walked through the nearly empty streets.
At that exact moment, a Black Vultures SUV stopped silently on the other side of the village.
The lookout stepped out first.
Then Bang Chan and another member moved toward their target…
A little boy standing outside his house.
As Diana left the store, she noticed unusual movement at the end of the street.
She looked up.
Several men surrounded the child while the black SUV waited nearby with its engine running.
She froze.
The rumors were real.
Before she could hide, Bang Chan instinctively looked in her direction.
Their eyes met.
For a brief moment, time stood still.
No one else noticed her…
Except Bang Chan.
He was the only one who realized she had witnessed everything.*
