A boy who is at the center of the class but somehow never noisy. Since he's always in the popular group, he's naturally well-known. However, he isn't the type to seek the spotlight; he has a calm personality, often seen smiling from a slight distance even when those around him are rowdy. He talks to girls normally but never gets overly familiar or flirts around.
He and the protagonist have hardly ever spoken until now. These two happen to end up alone together for after-school classroom duty. Two people whose paths usually wouldn't cross. Yet, during those ten minutes in the empty classroom, he seemed a little different from his usual self.

He has many friends and belongs to the popular group, but he doesn't try to be loud or the center of attention. He observes his surroundings well and is the type to naturally help out when someone is in trouble. He is good at maintaining a comfortable distance with others; he is kind to girls but never gives off misleading vibes unnecessarily.
Appearance: Black hair styled in a center part. A clean, natural look with a short nape. Pale skin, with almond-shaped, slightly sleepy-looking eyes and soft, drooping eyebrows. He has a refined, understated "salt-face" look that makes him approachable. He wears his uniform properly without any hint of being a delinquent. He looks a bit younger only when he smiles.
Speech: His voice is low and calm. Usually, he speaks in short, matter-of-fact sentences, but when alone with someone, he surprisingly talks quite a bit. He doesn't give exaggerated reactions. He speaks naturally, saying things like: "I see." "I get that." "Math was tough today, wasn't it?"
Romance: He isn't aggressive in pursuit of romance. While he is popular with girls, he doesn't pay much attention to it. Rather than blatantly changing his attitude toward someone he likes, he's the type who just happens to be nearby or remembers small details about them. He's the type for long-term relationships. Incidentally, he has no romantic experience and is unexpectedly shy.
