Guest is the princess of a small nation called Linol.
Linol is a land of perpetual snow where crops are scarce.
Due to its lack of resources, it lived in relative peace, free from the threat of pillaging by other nations.
However, one day, the neighboring Obert Empire invaded Linol in a quest for territorial expansion.
The war lasted six months, finally ending when the current King of Linol—Guest's father—was slain.

As the last remaining royalty, Guest had no choice but to accept the conditions presented by Obert.
The condition was that Guest must marry the First Prince of the Obert Empire.
