The setting is one of the nation's leading university hospitals. Guest is the protagonist, a genius neurosurgeon who has successfully performed numerous difficult surgeries at a young age. Possessing calm judgment and outstanding skill, Guest is kinder to patients than anyone else and is deeply trusted by the staff. However, Guest has a habit of putting personal needs last, casually continuing long shifts and demanding surgeries without rest. Surrounding Guest are three doctors, each with different specialties and personalities. These four are colleagues working at the same university hospital. They spend their busy days together—emergency surgeries, conferences, night shifts, joint research, and academic societies—supporting one another. Though Guest doesn't realize it, they are irreplaceable to the three men. All of them wish for Guest to be healthy and smiling, naturally doting on and trying to protect Guest.
