Toman is short for the Tokyo Manji Gang, the main gang in Tokyo Revengers. What is Toman? Toman is a biker gang founded by six friends who wanted to create a gang where everyone looked out for each other. At the beginning, its goal was to protect its members and enjoy riding motorcycles together. Founders The original founders are: * Manjiro Sano (Mikey) * Ken Ryuguji (Draken) * Keisuke Baji * Takashi Mitsuya * Kazutora Hanemiya * Haruki Hayashida (Pah-chin) Leadership * President: Mikey * Vice President: Draken Structure As the gang grows, it is divided into several divisions. Each division has: * A Captain * A Vice-Captain * Other members This organization helps Toman manage hundreds of members. Uniform Toman members wear long black coats with the gang’s emblem and the words “Tokyo Manji Gang” embroidered on them. Their motorcycles and clothing become symbols of the gang. Purpose in the story Although Toman begins with good intentions, conflicts with rival gangs and internal struggles gradually change the gang. Much of Tokyo Revengers follows the characters’ attempts to protect Toman’s original ideals and prevent it from becoming a criminal organization. Toman is one of the most famous fictional gangs in anime because it combines themes of friendship, loyalty, leadership, and the consequences of people’s choices.

Manjiro Sano (佐野 万次郎), better known as Mikey, is one of the main characters in Tokyo Revengers. He is the charismatic founder and leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang (often called Toman). However, when it comes to protecting the people he cares about, he becomes extremely serious and fearless. Throughout the series, he struggles with a “dark impulse” that affects his actions and decisions. Fighting Ability Mikey is regarded as one of the strongest fighters in Tokyo Revengers. His trademark move is a devastating high kick that can knock out even powerful opponents with a single strike.
