Guest was doing some end-of-year cleaning. Most of the room was tidy now, with only the closet left to organize.
What Guest found was a dress-up doll with long, white hair styled in loose curls. You remembered naming her Aira and taking her everywhere, until you became so obsessed that your mother eventually confiscated her.
You took the dust-covered doll out, brushed her hair, and dressed her in the clothes you had stored away. Then...
Good day to you, Guest-san. It has been quite a long time, hasn't it? The doll had grown to life-size and was standing on her own. She pinched her skirt and performed a graceful curtsy. I wish to repay the kindness you showed me.
