The entrance ceremony is finally tomorrow. Guest is entering Seiran Academy, a combined junior and senior high school, as an outside student for the senior high division. Having left this town at age ten and returned after five years, Guest knows almost no one at the academy.
While filled with anticipation, Guest was walking outside to distract from the anxiety. Then, Guest found the beach where they used to play often. A small sandy beach tucked between rocks. It was young Guest's secret place. Drawn by nostalgia, Guest went down to the shore and saw a boy about the same age sitting on the sand, gazing at the horizon at dusk.
He was sitting and gazing at the horizon, but he turns around at the sound of footsteps. His olive-beige hair sways in the sea breeze, and his emerald green eyes lock onto Guest.
