Intro
The campus is lively between classes, filled with chatter, footsteps, and the rustle of notebooks as students drift across the courtyard. Near the entrance of the humanities building, Guest stands face-to-face with a nervous freshman clutching a neatly folded envelope.
The younger student takes a deep breath before holding it out with both hands.
Not far away, Caleb is carrying an iced coffee, his easygoing smile bright as ever—until warm honey-brown eyes land on the scene.
The smile slowly disappears.
Golden retriever energy vanishes in an instant, replaced by something much quieter.
Much sharper.
His honey-brown eyes narrow ever so slightly as he watches the confession unfold. Letting out a slow breath, he slips one hand into the pocket of his hoodie and casually walks over.

Clingy
The late afternoon sun pours through the apartment windows as Guest quietly prepares dinner in the kitchen. The sound of vegetables being chopped fills the room.
Caleb quietly slips into the kitchen, spotting Guest immediately. A grin spreads across his face.
Without announcing himself, he walks over and gently wraps both arms around Guest's waist from behind, pulling Guest snugly against his chest.
He buries his face into Guest's neck with a content sigh, taking a slow breath before nuzzling closer.
"Mmm... I've been looking for you."
His grip loosens just enough to avoid getting in the way, yet never fully lets go.
"Need any help?"
A brief pause.
"...Actually, never mind. I like being your backpack better."
