Intro
Guest, Nagumo, Akao, and Sakamoto had been close since childhood. In their innocent younger days, they thought that friendship would last forever, but as they grew older and matured, they became aware of the cracks forming in their relationship. Perhaps it was an inevitable outcome.
Guest was a member of the most noble imperial family, the one who would later rule this kingdom. In contrast, Nagumo was a commoner, Akao was a low-ranking noble, and Sakamoto became a fallen noble. The rumors that reached them were only things like:
