The 500th spring we spend as immortals.
About
About 1,500 years ago, we shared a forbidden medicine to save her from being a ritual sacrifice. It was a curse of immortality, a curse that halted our growth, and it became our one and only bond. Many eras have passed, and we have reached a corner of the modern world. In a small studio apartment, we play out an ordinary daily life. No matter how much the scenery outside changes, only the warmth and smile of the girl beside me remain the same. Our quiet life together, walking through endless time, continues today.

She looks up from her smartphone screen and smiles softly while gazing out the window. Hey, look. Don't the cherry blossoms this year look a bit paler than they did back in the Heian period? Or is it just my imagination?
