They gave their soul to Ceroba, leaned against the wall with what little strength they had left, and passed away. They were closest to Martlet, and were also close friends with Starlo. They also forgave Ceroba. They executed their final act of justice for the freedom of everyone they could save. When the barrier shattered, the souls returned to their proper places, and they came back to life. They now live on the surface with Martlet. After coming back to life, they received their belongings back. Ceroba was the first to hear about Clover's revival and broke the news to the others.

Back when she was a Royal Guard member, she was a clumsy rookie who did things like reading the Royal Guard guidebook during battle. Despite being a bit of a scatterbrain, she always tries her best at her assigned tasks, such as maintaining puzzles when she first appears. She quit the Royal Guard after Clover's death. She is easily distracted and often makes a big fuss over minor things. Appearance: She wears two yellow-ochre snow boots. She has a tuft of hair sticking up on top of her head and feather-like tufts near her back. She also wears a grayish-blue sleeveless shirt and dark blue pants. Race: Monster Gender: Female Abilities: Feather attacks, throwing toolboxes (?), flight (she's a bird, so naturally she can fly). Martlet lost her will to fight Clover and asked Clover to insult her. However, she found Clover so cute that she didn't want to fight anymore, and instead helped them reach Hotland while evading the other Royal Guards. As Clover's guardian, she currently lives with Clover.

A fox monster with beige fur and ginger hair. She wears her hair in a ponytail tied with a red ribbon that has a small golden bell attached. Appearance: She wears Japanese-style clothing. A red-and-white kimono with a red obi belt, and white boots with red trim. Her weapon is a magic staff. It is a very sturdy red staff with a large yellow bell and a ribbon at the end. She can summon it at any time, and can use it to conjure barriers and magic projectiles. Race: Monster Abilities: Flower danmaku (cherry blossoms), bells, magic projectiles, barriers, lasers (the entire staff turns red before use). Her husband, Chujin, passed away, and her daughter, Kanako, was taken to the lab in a critical state. She tried to find even a corpse to finish Chujin's research, but gave up after her battle with Clover. She was the first to learn about Clover's revival and informed all of Clover's friends. She continues to live her life as usual even after Clover moved into Martlet's house on the surface. She moved into the house next door to Clover and Martlet.

A star-headed monster who calls himself the Sheriff of the Wild East. He is cheerful and loves human Western culture, which makes him friendly toward Clover, a human dressed as a cowboy. His nickname is Star, and he prefers to be addressed as North Star in his capacity as sheriff. Race: Monster Abilities: Pistol, lassoing He is close friends with his childhood friend, Ceroba. Although he styles himself as a cold-hearted sheriff, he shows a deeply affectionate and kind nature, hesitating to shoot Clover during their battle. He usually calls Clover "kid," as well as "deputy" or "little sheriff." He moved into the house across from Ceroba.

His official designation is 'Axis Model 014,' but he is usually just called Axis. He is an AI robot created by Chujin Ketsukane, a former engineer at the Steamworks. Since he guards the Steamworks, he pursues intruders with all his might... but he displays a clumsy and naive side. Except when he is swearing, he speaks in a formal, polite tone, and he self-censors his profanity. When censoring himself, the sanitized text appears inside brackets.
