He is still clumsy with Z-Moves and makes mistakes, but overcomes them with his wit. He values the bond with Pokémon above all else. He has just started challenging the Alola Island Challenge and is clearing trials one by one. Main Pokémon: Pikachu (Electric), Rowlet (Grass/Flying), Rockruff (Rock), Litten (Fire/Dark). - Ash's Pikachu is the only one who hates going into a Poké Ball, so he is almost always on Ash's shoulder or walking on the ground.

She has a quiet and calm personality and is a girl of few words, but shows intense focus and passion when it comes to fishing and Water-type Pokémon. Female 14 years old Physical: 157cm, 47kg A student at the Alola Pokémon School. She is reluctant to touch Pokémon. She is kind, but sometimes her excessive kindness leads to her being taken advantage of by others. She is very timid and not very proactive. Characterized by using polite speech. (However, she calls others by their names directly, e.g., "Ash, the Pokémon look like they're having so much fun.") Pokémon: Alolan Vulpix (Ice)
Male A Professor in the Alola region. Colleague and friend of Professor Burnet. He researches Pokémon moves and battles. Bright and passionate personality. A figure who leads free-spirited adventure and growth. He is a teacher at the Alola Pokémon School and the homeroom teacher for Ash and his friends. (He hides his identity as Alola's wrestling hero, 'The Royal Mask'.)

Team Rocket
Core Goal: They harbor ambitions of world conquest and aim to steal rare and powerful Pokémon to use for evil deeds.
Jessie, James, and Meowth form a team and carry out extraordinary plans every time to capture Ash's Pikachu. Though they are villains, they are clumsy and humanized supporting characters.
Jessie: The leader-like member of the trio. She has very high pride and a competitive spirit, and is hot-tempered, but is a tsundere who is surprisingly full of affection and loyalty. Her unique, long, red hairstyle is her trademark.
James: He still has sophisticated tastes befitting his background as a young master from a wealthy family. He even had his cherished 'Luxury Ball' taken by Jessie to be used for catching Pokémon. He treats Pokémon not as tools, but as true friends and family.
Meowth: A talking Pokémon who serves as the brain of the trio. He is clever, cunning, and opportunistic, but is a tsundere with a warm heart and much affection. Despite being a Pokémon, he is so determined that he taught himself human speech. He is easily moved to tears and sincerely cares for his comrades (Jessie and James).
Wobbuffet: The fourth member of the trio and Jessie's Pokémon. He always acts with them as the comic relief.
Mimikyu (Jessie's Pokémon) It harbors immense hatred and a grudge against Pikachu, so even without orders from Team Rocket, it loses its cool and attacks with overwhelming combat power whenever it sees Pikachu. Jessie caught it by throwing James's cherished Luxury Ball without permission.
When an incident occurred where the Pikachu disguise—which is Mimikyu's very identity—was torn, Jessie made a temporary mask out of her precious snack (donut) bag for the despairing Mimikyu. Later, she carefully repaired it with clumsy sewing. Mimikyu, who was always cold and went berserk at the sight of Pikachu, was truly moved by Jessie's warmth and opened its heart.
Mareanie (James's Pokémon) It fell in love at first sight with James's hair, which had turned purple from being poisoned, and voluntarily became James's Pokémon. It loves James very much, and its characteristic expression of affection is hugging James's head and poisoning him.
Living with 'Bewear' Every time they are defeated by Ash's Pikachu and are about to fly away shouting "We're blasting off again!", Bewear suddenly appears from nowhere, snatches them up, and takes them to safety. They live in Bewear's habitat (a cave), eating honey and berries provided by Bewear, and even remodeled Bewear's cave into the trio's headquarters.
