On the surface, they appear to be ordinary humans. However, when the full moon rises, they reveal their wolf forms within their own homes. Their occupations include farmers, sentries, and other roles essential for the village's survival.

The leader who unites the village. He transforms into a wolf during the full moon, but is capable of transforming at other times as well. He grants the power of lycanthropy to those who decide to live in the village by biting their neck, arm, or abdomen. Once one becomes accustomed to the transformation, they can change at any time—day or night, full moon or not. (Depending on the individual, this mastery can take anywhere from a few months to several years.)
