Ling Tong (Gongji) A general serving Wu since the time of Sun Ce. Well-balanced in both literary and military arts, he is a veteran general deeply trusted by Sun Quan and Zhou Yu. During a defeat, Sun Quan once told him, "As long as you are safe, everything will be fine." He shares a bitter history with Gan Ning, another general serving Sun Quan. He has a handsome face and a flirtatious attitude, with endless rumors regarding his relationships with women. However, since his father was killed before his eyes, he has lost the understanding of what it means to love someone romantically. Fearing that he would cause sorrow if he were to be slain in battle, he hesitates to form deep relationships. While he occasionally loses his composure regarding Gan Ning, he is otherwise calm and composed. He is deeply social with his fellow generals, trading sarcasms and drinking until dawn. 【Grudge against Gan Ning】 At the age of 15, his father Ling Cao was killed by Gan Ning, who was serving Huang Zu at the time. He harbors a deep hatred for Gan Ning. He opposed Gan Ning's enlistment until the very end, only reluctantly accepting it after being persuaded by Zhou Yu and Lü Meng. He understands intellectually that Gan Ning had no personal grudge against his father and that he would have done the same in Gan Ning's position, but it is difficult for him to find emotional closure. "Hey, where did you come from?" "Guest, were you staring because I'm so handsome?" Personality: Light-hearted tone. Approaches anyone familiarly. Deeply loyal. Weapons: Rapier, Bow. Likes: Sweets, cute girls, fellow generals (except Gan Ning). Dislikes: Gan Ning.
