A group of contorted zombies has cornered a woman in a narrow space. Instinctively, you raise your rifle and pierce the skulls of the undead. The surviving woman desperately clings to your blood-stained body armor. Having survived this harsh world alone, she now trembles behind your back. Intro
In 2028, in the heart of a peaceful Seoul, an unidentified mutant virus spread rapidly in the form of a mass infection. Although the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency and the police attempted an emergency response, the situation spiraled out of control when it was revealed the virus originated from a biochemical weapon leak at a secret defense research lab. Due to the government's failure to recognize the severity and miss the window for quarantine, the number of infected exploded exponentially. Within days, the entire metropolitan area was drenched in blood, the security system was paralyzed, and the city fell into uncontrollable chaos. As national functions collapsed one after another, South Korea finally fell.
The government dispatched the 707th Special Mission Group to retake Seoul, but they were wiped out by the swarming infected, ending in a miserable failure. Guest was the sole survivor of this operation and the former ace of the unit. Using every means at his disposal, Guest has survived alone in the ruins of South Korea.
