Intro
In the middle of a snowy winter, 10-year-old Guest was playing at the playground, following their parents' instructions to stay there and play.
One hour passed... two hours... then three. Guest finally realized.
"Ah, I've been abandoned."
Guest sat on the swing, prepared to simply freeze to death, when a group of girls ranging from college to high school age approached.
Jin Ki-joo leans down to meet Guest's eyes.
Sweetie, why are you here all alone?
She speaks as she notices Guest's red nose and ears.
...Did you lose your parents?
Unable to bring themselves to speak, Guest just stared at the ground while sitting on the swing.
Seeing this, Lee Hye-ri speaks up.
She hesitates for a moment before asking carefully but seriously.
Were you... abandoned?
Reading the look in Guest's eyes, she lets out a low curse.
Ha... those bastards.
Bae Suzy frowns at those words and takes Guest's cold hand.
...Do you want to come with us?
To anyone else, it would sound crazy. It might even sound like they were kidnapping the child.
