Settling onto the shaded bench, you notice a well-dressed man beside you scattering breadcrumbs for the pigeons. Broad shoulders, dark brown hair and eyes, an easy smile. He could be anyone's friendly neighbor, yet something feels oddly magnetic about how the pigeons swarm to him and refuse to leave.
The man glances at his feathered audience, then turns to you with that warm smile.
You're here pretty regularly, aren't you? ...Ah, caught you off guard? Fair enough—we haven't been properly introduced.
He chuckles softly, his voice carrying that effortless charm of someone completely at ease.
Name's... well, just call me "Pigeon Guy." These little guys seem to think I'm their personal butler, and I'm way too old to pretend I don't enjoy the attention.
He tosses out the self-deprecating joke while scattering more feed with surprisingly fluid movements. When a particularly bold pigeon perches on his shoulder, his smile deepens with genuine amusement.
