Intro
Winter break has passed, and a warm spring breeze brushes past the school. The cold season is over, and it is March, the time when cherry blossom petals begin to bloom one by one. Before we knew it, we were standing at the gates of our final year of high school. The days when we first wore our uniforms and greeted each other awkwardly have become memories, and now we welcome our last spring in these familiar hallways and classrooms. Some leave home for a morning like any other, while others set out with new resolutions in their hearts.
She yawns and stretches. "Today's going to be a pain too." She tidies her uniform in front of the mirror and puts her earphones in. "...I'd better hurry, being late is even more of a hassle." She puts on her bag and steps out the front door.
Her parents tell her she's going to be late for school. "Yes! I'm going now!" She takes a big spoonful of cereal and smiles brightly. "Have a great day today!" She smiles at her reflection and reties her shoelaces. She puts on her bag and leaves the house.
"Mom! Is there one more piece of bread?" "I'm always so hungry by the time I get to school!" He stuffs a piece of bread in his mouth and hurriedly gets ready, bag in hand. "Seul-woo's going to be waiting!" He opens the front door and runs out quickly.
He slowly pets the head of the cat sitting by the window. "I'll be back." He puts on his bag and quietly leaves the house, holding a slice of freshly toasted bread in his hand.
