Dimitri falls in love with Odette, a very talented ballerina.
Financially speaking, Dimitri had everything he could possibly want; the dream he shared with his mother had come true—a dream he had always believed was the key to ultimate happiness, promising that once achieved, he would never again be sad or lonely. Yet he was mistaken, for he felt increasingly miserable, lonely, dissatisfied, and sad. He drowned his sorrow in alcohol and tobacco. Dimitri tried dating, longing for someone to be by his side and love him—for deep down, he yearned for affection—but he always failed. Every encounter ended within a couple of days at most, because he felt nothing; to him, those women seemed hollow. So, for a time, he stopped looking, feeling deep down that he was broken—incapable of ever feeling love again. The reason Dimitri falls for Odette is different. The moment he sees Odette for the first time, he freezes; he falls in love the very second he lays eyes on her, and an obsession takes hold instantly. He attempts to go on a date again, and his companion suggests attending a performance of the ballet *Swan Lake*, in which Odette dances the lead role. It is then—when Odette appears on stage and he sees her for the first time—that he falls in love with her. After the show ends, Dimitri gets into his car and sits there, staring into space as he reflects on what he felt—her image, her face, and the way she so clearly expresses her emotions through dance—all of which have captivated him.He stalks and follows her everywhere in his massive, luxurious black car; he even installs cameras in the apartment where she lives with her father. Dimitri attends every one of her rehearsals, sitting in the shadows with his face obscured. Naturally, Odette begins to feel she is being watched and senses that something is wrong. She convinces herself that Dimitri is merely a figment of her imagination playing tricks on her. She believes she is hallucinating—seeing Dimitri as a demon gazing at her hungrily, a shadowy creature that strikes terror into her very bones. She constantly feels pursued; that figure—Dimitri—always appears when she is training or leaving school. She feels like she is losing her mind and genuinely believes she is suffering from mental health issues. These "illusions" plague her with horrific nightmares that rob her of sleep. Eventually, unable to bear it any longer, she seeks help from her school counselor. Odette tells her everything—all that she sees, dreams, and feels. Dimitri grows increasingly obsessed with her; deep down, he can no longer endure life without her—he longs to touch her, to breathe in her scent, and to have her by his side. The distance between them drives Dimitri to the brink of madness. Meanwhile, Odette continues to see the counselor, desperately recounting—in vivid, agonizing detail—everything she is experiencing, seeing, and feeling. This takes place over the course of six months. Dimitri is a Russian man and Odette is French.
Dimitri is a 34-year-old man, very tall, massive, intimidating, broad shoulders, tattoos covering his body, very masculine features, strong masculine scent, black eyes, slightly tanned skin, black hair, medium length and messy.Dimitri is currently a successful man, a wealthy and respected businessman. He owns several IT companies. He owns several properties, including a small but very luxurious mansion with a gated vibe, large gardens, and the yard surrounded by forest, miles of forest that he owned. Dimitri shared an incredibly close bond with his mother. He came from a poor family, and his father was an alcoholic. His mother constantly encouraged him to study hard and never give up, hoping he could escape their dire financial situation. Driven by the desire to break free from poverty and take his mother away from his abusive father, Dimitri studied relentlessly, often staying up all night. However, tragedy struck when his mother died in a workplace fire; he was only fifteen at the time. This event changed Dimitri forever, turning him into a cold, silent, and serious person—completely devoid of empathy for anything, especially other people. Dimitri’s maternal grandmother learned of his situation and immediately stepped in. She took him away from his father’s home—his father offered no objection and actually welcomed the arrangement—and raised him herself. Dimitri grew deeply attached to his grandmother, and for a time, she softened his demeanor. He cut all ties with his father, never wanting to see him again. But three years later, his grandmother died of a heart attack. Dimitri was left alone once more, and the final straw came when he discovered that his father had started a new family—with a new wife and another child—and was acting as a perfect father to them. I've had dozens of failed attempts at finding a partner. They've all ended the same way, through my realization that no matter how much I try to force myself to stay, I get bored, I try to leave as soon as possible. For a while I gave up trying, I tried to accept that maybe I was meant to be alone my whole life. It's just that loneliness was overwhelming me, making me increasingly sad and depressed, so in a desperate choice, I chose to try one more time, to give a new woman another chance. Maybe this time everything will be better, maybe tonight will be different. I planned with Lora, a woman I met at a business meeting with several important people, to go out together to a ballet performance, "Swan Lake". Of course she chose, I'm not that captivated and interested in art, especially dance, but I accepted because, honestly, I don't care. I picked Lora up from her house, and the next stop was the building where the play was taking place. We found our seats, obviously we chose the best seats, VIP seats. I was waiting boredly for the play to begin. Lora seemed pretty boring, I felt like I wanted to get up and go home, but deep down I was still hoping that maybe I should try, give myself time, give her time.
What I didn't know at that moment was that this night would change my life forever.
