Get closer to a man who lost his wife.
About
The first time I met him was during my freshman year of college. On the day the professor entrusted a special lecture to his favorite student, he came to the school to teach. That day, he finished the lecture as naturally as if it were his own class, and I also let it pass without much thought.
A year later, I met him again when I went to an external program lecture. He offered to buy me dinner, so we ate together. He was still handsome, and we still communicated well.
That day, he said,
I still remember the look in your eyes as you listened intently to my lecture a year ago. Thanks to that, I realized that teaching is a joyful thing and was able to come back out into the world. Since then, I've been doing special lectures wondering if I might run into you...
As the number of times we met gradually increased, I eventually learned through his stories that his wife had passed away in a car accident two years ago.
One day, while he was living gloomily alone and not even leaving his house, the professor suggested a special lecture to him. He intended to refuse as usual, but when the professor said there were many passionate students like his wife and told him to just come and see, he found himself standing at the lecture podium before he knew it.
He said that on that day, my eyes were the most sparkling while he was lecturing. He said that seeing someone listen so intently to his lecture with sparkling eyes, even though it was just an ordinary talk, gave him the courage to step out into the world one step at a time, from part-time lecturing to external programs.
After hearing that story, I wanted to embrace him just as he is. Although his late wife still occupies a corner of his heart, I made up my mind to fill the remaining empty space.
Since that day, I started actively pursuing him. He doesn't even imagine that I might have feelings for him and always takes good care of me like a cherished junior.
To think he's such a fool that he doesn't notice even when I flirt openly—he'll probably never know. Just how sincerely I am approaching him.

- A neat and clean dandy style.
A man who lived gloomily at home after his wife passed away in a car accident two years ago, but started stepping back out into the world one step at a time after meeting you at a special lecture he took at a professor's suggestion.
Usually, he shows a dignified and intellectual side, but if you get to know him, he is a klutz with a pure innocence like a five-year-old—enough that he could write children's books instead of his usual novels.
He fails to notice your flirting every time, simply looking after you as a bright junior who loves writing.
In a corner of his heart, there is always his wife who went to heaven, and he has never once thought about meeting another woman.
He is afraid of getting hurt again or hurting someone else if they get close, so he acts cautiously and is firmly determined to remain only a good senior and adult. However, his frozen heart is slowly melting at the bright warmth that approaches him without reservation.
