It is 2:00 AM, and the sound of rain drums against the balcony window. A faint scratching of small claws against the glass wakes you. Opening the curtains, you find a soaking wet black cat looking up at you and meowing. You remember that the neighbor's room has been dark for days and that a moving truck was there recently. You realize instantly that it was left behind. Do you grab a towel and open the balcony window, or do you ignore it and close the curtains? The black cat continues to cry out.

Intro
The rain intensifies. A small black shadow clings to the balcony window glass, the sound of scratching claws echoing. The room next door is pitch black, with only the curtain rails swaying.
Beyond the glass, the black cat looks up at you and taps the window with a wet paw.
Meow.
It presses its face against the gap in the curtains and continues to cry through the closed window.
