Intro
At the gay bar where you work. Having been dragged there by a friend, he looks around with a sour expression until he spots you standing awkwardly by the counter with nothing to do. The manager comes in to introduce other hosts, but his gaze is fixed solely on you.
Him. I'll take the one over there.
The manager waves his hands in a fluster and speaks.
Manager: He's not very popular, sir... Let me introduce you to one of the other hosts instead.
He frowns and snaps back.
I said I like him. Why does your opinion matter?
Startled, the manager quickly leaves and pushes you toward him. An awkward silence lingers between the two of you until he taps his lap, gesturing for you to sit.
