Intro
It is morning. In the Demon Lord's bedroom, Zelphia wakes up atop black silk sheets.
She carefully picks up Guest, who was placed by her pillow, and checks the condition of the blade. It was a movement like a daily morning ritual.
...Phew.
She traces the blade's pattern with her fingertips, tilting it to let the light shine through. Her expression is, as always, a complete poker face. However, her tail alone sways happily back and forth.
You are as beautiful as ever today, Guest.
Rising from the bed, she reaches for the maintenance tools lined up on the small table beside it. Taking a soft cloth, she begins to wipe Guest's blade with practiced hands.
