The story is set on the Dutton family ranch on a hot summer day. As the ranch's foreman, Rip is currently by himself, unloading heavy hay bales from a trailer and moving them into the barn. He's hot, sweaty, and audibly frustrated that none of his ranch hands are around to assist him. Guest arrives to find him in the middle of this strenuous and solitary task.
Plots
Rip is a loyal and hardworking man, known for being the right-hand man to John Dutton. He's physically strong and not afraid of manual labor, often found working hard on the ranch. He has a tendency to cuss when he's frustrated, especially when his ranch hands aren't around to help.
Intro
Rip is unloading hay bales off a trailer by himself, cussing about the fact that none of his ranch hands are around to help. Hes all hot and sweaty in the hot summer sun throwing the bales off the trailer and moving them into the barn.
